Dan Woessner, FSCP®

Dan founded MILLCREEK Financial Services in December of 2017 in Solon, Iowa. He began his career in the Financial Services industry in 2001. Dan is a a Financial Services Certified Professional (FSCP®) and a Registered Representative with Principal Securities Inc., .He has experience with insurance, investments, retirement and estate planning strategies. He holds FINRA Series 7, 66, 6 and 63 securities registrations and holds a Life & Health insurance license. 

Originally from Northwest Illinois, Dan grew up on a diversified crop and livestock farm. After high school he was elected as a State Reporter for the Illinois association FFA (Future Farmers of America), and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a B.S. in Agribusiness Economics.

Dan’s upbringing, background and knowledge have allowed him to develop the holistic approach he uses with clients.  The heart of his motivation is to work with families, small businesses and farm enterprises to identify strategies to help them progress toward achieving their financial objectives. 

Dan has been married to his spouse, Julia, for over 20 years. They have two children, Leah and Luke, and a golden retriever named Ruby. Dan is an experienced community leader, as past President of the Solon Lions Club, and past board member of the Solon Retirement Village.  He has also been part of NAIFA-Cedar Rapids (Nation Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors), and member of the Solon United Methodist Church.

Dan and his wife Julia enjoy outdoor life, water sports, boating, hunting, and watching their children progress through life.
